One of the best dive sites in Komodo, Castle Rock, offers a spectacular underwater experience. Though the current can be strong and is aimed at experienced divers, it doesn’t affect visibility.
Some of the marine life that you can find here are manta rays, reef sharks, eagle rays, schools of tuna and barracudas, giant trevallies, groupers, giant jacks attracted by huge schools of fusilier and surgeon, a variety of multi-colored wrasses, batfish, banner fishes, Spanish mackerels, and unicorn fish. You will meet other exceptional visitors, such as grey reef sharks, white tip, and black tip sharks.
