One of the drift dive sites in Komodo, Golden Passage, is prone to down-currents when a strong current occurs.
Many small coral trout, large schools of anchovies, tuna, and trevallies are seen at about 20 meters. Blacktip and white tip reef sharks, schooling fish, nudibranchs, dugongs, pygmy seahorses, crab, and shrimp, green turtles, hawksbill sea turtles, lionfish, parrotfish, surgeonfish, triggerfish, stingray, and reef manta rays.
