Lekuan (Bunaken) Dive Site in

Sulawesi

Due to its impressive walls, Lekuan is often cited as the signature dive site in Bunaken and Siladen. Green and Hawksbill turtles are regular visitors in this area, as well as fusiliers, tuna, Napoleon wrasse, groupers, gobies, and damselfish, often found close to the coral reefs. Sponges, sea fans, and black corals are abundant in different colors and shapes.

Big players such as rays and reef sharks (white and blacktip) can be spotted on the deeper side, where the currents are stronger.
