Turkey Beach Dive Site in

Wakatobi

Located on the south side of Tolondano Island, this dive site is the elongation of the House Reef at Wakatobi Resort. The dominant feature in Turkey Beach is the seagrass beds in the depth of 1-3 meters.

Anticipate a sloping reef adorned with lively soft corals, hard corals, and sponges in various colors and species while enjoying the sightings of green and hawksbill turtles. This dive site is prominent as one of the best sites in Wakatobi to preserve sea turtles, which explains the abundant presence of juvenile and adult turtles.

Other common sightings in the region are blue spotted stingrays, cuttlefish, crocodile fish, fusiliers, anthias, damselfish, eagle rays, spadefish, and bumphead parrotfish. On a lucky day, eagle rays might be presenting themselves.
