Constructed in 2021 in Sulawesi, known as Indonesia’s “boatyard,” the Jelajahi Laut is a magnificent phinisi boat made from local teak and ironwood, dedicated to bringing diving enthusiasts to Indonesia’s premier dive locations. Its name, translating to “Explore the Sea,” encapsulates its mission to offer expeditions across various celebrated dive destinations such as Komodo, Raja Ampat, the Banda Islands, Alor, and Ambon. Designed with divers in mind, the vessel boasts a spacious layout including an equipment area and camera station essential for preparing for dives, ensuring a dive-focused, comfortable experience.
The Jelajahi Laut has 6 cozy cabins, accommodating up to 16 adventure-seekers for intimate dive trips that go beyond the renowned dive sites to include visits to remote islands and local villages. The small, devoted local crew and dive guides onboard treat guests like family, sharing with them the marvels of the Indonesian archipelago.
