La Galigo Liveaboard was built by traditional Sulawesi craftsmen, she is 33 meters in length and is a two-mast Phinisi. La Galigo was created and designed by two avid divers that had a version of affordable lifestyle and comfort in mind. La Galigo has seven very spacious and comfortable cabins that can comfortably accommodate up to 14 – 16 guests, each cabin comes equipped with Air Conditioning, ensuite bathrooms, with hot freshwater showers. There are 4 cabins on the lower deluxe, which can be converted from Double to Twin setup, 2 Master Cabins on the upper deck, as well as the vast and spacious Suite room.
The suite is an exceptional space that has a private living area, ensuite bathroom, large 48″ TV, personal water machines, and a private balcony. The main deck is where we have the restaurant and the dive deck located. The restaurant is also an excellent play to relax and chill out, and you can take advantage of the library, which is stocked full of marine life books, which will help you with your identifications. The main food onboard is Western and Indonesian Style cuisine; they can also cater for vegetarians, vegans, and many other requests, with prior notice to the trip.
The dive deck is purpose-built and perfect for getting ready and access to the dive tendors, there is no need to carry any of your equipment as this is all done for you by the crew. La Galigo also has a full setup for equipment rental, Nitrox, and 15L tanks. There is a reliable and very well experienced crew of around 18 people onboard, including dive guides, and Cruise Director to ensure your adventure is perfect. La Galigo can also offer private guides for you with prior notice.
Many of the itineraries include Snorkelling, trekking, Scuba Diving, and so much more. For your relaxation time onboard, you can enjoy the shaded area in front of the deck, or head up to the very top deck and take advantage of the enormous bean bags and soak up the sun and the beautiful surroundings. La Galigo offers Scuba Diving trips in Komodo National Park and Raja Ampat.
