The first island in the Sangihe chain, Biaro, offers a few exciting dive sites. It mainly consists of pinnacles, and this is the site where you can observe the abundance of barracudas, sweetlips, schools of jacks, fusiliers, snappers, bumphead parrotfish, and tunas. Big players like eagle rays and sharks are regular visitors to this area.

Biaro has a stunning coral coverage with soft and hard corals, including table corals and gorgonians adorning the steep walls that have become a characteristic of diving topography in Biaro.
