The Japanese freighter was torpedoed by the US submarine while it was anchored carrying munitions in World War 2, causing the freighter to fall apart and sink. The bottom of the wreck lies 32 meters deep, while the highest point of the wreck is about 12 meters in depth.
With a length of approximately 60 meters, there are many to see, including schools of barracudas, snappers, sweetlips, and fusiliers that circle the wreck. In contrast, whitetip sharks and eagle rays can be seen nearby. Critters like pygmy seahorses, batfish, scorpionfish, nudibranchs, and cuttlefish can be spotted here.
