Blue Light Cave Dive Site in

Kakaban

As one of Indonesia’s deepest and most incredible cave dives, Blue Light Cave should not be missed from the itinerary if you are an experienced diver. The cave is accessible from a crack at 2 meters and then descends into a narrow chimney. Around 21 meters, the chimney opens up into a large cavern that spans about 120 meters. The name originates from the blue light that penetrates the cave.

The exit is a long vertical crack and lies at 44 meters. Though there is another exit at 64 meters, this one is rarely used as you need to be an experienced cave diver to use this exit. Manta and eagle rays, tuna, jacks, barracudas, and reef sharks are some of the animals that can be seen while exploring this fantastic cave.
