Bualo Dive Site in

Bunaken and Siladen

One of the dive sites in the marine park that is rarely visited, Bualo is located in the southwest of Manado Tua, the island on the east side of Bunaken. Instead of sloping straight walls, Bualo offers something different. The walls on this dive site have many twists and turns, overhangs, and even small caves.

The reef here varies, from soft and bubble corals to orangutan crabs functioning as their homes. Green and Hawksbill turtles often swim gracefully or lie down on the top of the coral reef.

Triggerfish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, and angelfish are frequent visitors to Bualo, primarily seen in different colors around the coral reefs.
