Like Manta Point, divers mostly go to Crystal Bay in Nusa Penida to see ocean sunfish, aka Mola-mola. Though it is possible to see the world’s heaviest bony fish all year, they frequently appear between July and October. Due to its strong currents, diving in Crystal Bay is advised for experienced divers.

Diving in Crystal Bay is sometimes rewarded by the appearance of whales and dolphins in the deeper water of Crystal Bay.
