Gili Tepekong & Gili Mimpang Dive Site in

Bali

Located in Candidasa, these two dive spots are close to each other, yet both offer different diving experiences. Due to challenging currents, these dive sites are aimed only at experienced divers.

At Gili Tepekong, whitetip and black-tip shark sightings are frequent, and if luck is on your side, you can encounter hammerhead sharks and Bali catshark, which is endemic to Bali. Blue-spotted stingrays, sweetlips, jacks and grouper, angelfish, parrotfish, and giant moray eels. Green sea turtles and hawksbill turtles are often seen.

Octopuses, squid, cuttlefish, ribbon eels, garden eels, and moray eels can often be found at Gili Mimpang. Pay attention as they sometimes hide between cracks or bury themselves in the ocean floor.
