Goraici Islands Dive Site in

Halmahera

These groups of islands are located in the southwestern part of Halmahera and sit right on the Equator line. The white sandy beaches are not the only things about the Goraici Islands that are pleasing to the eyes but also the underwater scenery.

This is one of the perfect dive spots for both a night dive and a day dive. The walls are covered with healthy and wonderful soft and hard corals, sponges, and sea fans, creating the perfect environment for macro creatures like pygmy seahorses and various shrimps and crabs.

Schools of barracudas and jacks, alongside some reef fish species like angelfish, butterflyfish, clownfish, and parrotfish, are going in and out of the coral reef. Whitetip and blacktip sharks are frequently seen cruising the area, while manta rays sometimes make this dive site the cleaning station.
