House Reef Dive Site in

Misool

Part of the Misool Eco Resort, this dive site is notable due to the creation of Misool Marine Reserve in 2005, covering 300,000 acres. The effort resulted in the pristine condition of the underwater biodiversity.

Huge Gorgonian sea fans, tunicates, and coral bommies have become the home of pygmy seahorses, colorful crinoids, shrimps, and arrowhead crabs. Pay attention to the epaulette shark, the endemic species of Raja Ampat, walking on the sea bed with its pectoral fins.

Different species of nudibranchs and flatworms will satisfy any macro photography enthusiasts. The soft and hard corals’ diverse shades of yellow, white, orange, and black will be captivating.
