Located in the south part of Misool, at the intersection of Banda dan Seram Sea, Jef Pele Island can only be characterized as astounding when it comes to marine life. Jef Pele is one of the few areas in Raja Ampat yet to be fully explored.

Coral-covered slopes and walls form this area, creating coral gardens full of vibrant colors of the soft and hard corals. Schools of anthias, butterflyfish, as well as different species of nudibranchs and critters, are hidden among the coral reefs.

The strong currents in the area are the favorite for pelagic fish like tuna, barracuda, and trevally.
