Lekuan Dive Site in

Bunaken and Siladen

Lekuan is considered the signature dive in Bunaken and Siladen. This wall dive is divided into several dive sites called Lekuan I, Lekuan II, and Lekuan III due to the endless expansion of the wall. They offer the same spectacular underwater sights.

Green and hawksbill turtles are frequent visitors to this region. Not only that, the walls are covered in colorful sponges, sea fans, and black corals, creating the perfect environment for different species of fish. Mackerel, fusiliers, tuna, Napoleon wrasse, groupers, gobies, and damselfish are among the marine life that roam the waters around Lekuan. It is reported that over 33 species of butterfly fish can be found here.

Big animals like eagle rays and reef sharks (white and blacktip) can often be spotted on the deeper side. The currents can be strong, but the walls’ shape and length make it possible to find the sheltered spots.
