One of Lombok’s most stunning dive sites, Magnet, must be experienced directly to see its magnificence. The pinnacle in the open sea, surfacing from around 80 meters, is only suitable for advanced divers.

Magnet is the place to spot schools of mackerels, rainbow runners, tunas, and barracudas. But the extraordinary sighting here is the schools of scalloped and great hammerhead sharks. These two giant sharks often lurk in the region during the hammerhead season. Outside the hammerhead season, whitetip, blacktip, and greytip sharks are regularly seen in Magnet.
