This dive site is situated southeast of Atauro Island, close to the Makili/Maquili village. An 80-meter wall with overhangs, this dive site is in a small cove, hence the name.

This is one of the dive sites around Atauro Island suitable for divers of all levels due to the calm water conditions. As the name suggests, this is the site to see manta rays. In great numbers, other fish species like tuna, Napoleon wrasse, barracudas, trevallies, and critters like scorpion fish and nudibranchs are also present.
