Padar Island (Pilaarsteen) Dive Site in

Komodo National Park

Located between Komodo and Rinca island, this expansive dive site comprises pinnacles, walls, sloping reefs, caves, and swim-throughs, suitable for experienced divers.

Colorful soft corals of yellow, orange, and soft brown leather corals can be found covering the rocky walls with many yellow sea cucumbers attached to most corals. Red and purple fire urchins are also commonly found here. Scorpionfish, frogfish, sharks, turtles, schools of fusiliers, rays, and pelagic fish can all be spotted.
