Pintu Kota Dive Site in

Ambon

Translated as “Gate of The City”, this dive site is a muck dive site with stunning topography. Located in the southwestern part of Ambon, this site is known for the rock formation that resembles an archway. This rock seems to have sprung from the sea bed and goes 17 meters below the water.

The population of trevallies, snapper, fusiliers, anthias, pufferfish, and triggerfish are abundant here. Schooling of anthias, jacks, groupers, and barracudas can be seen swimming in and out of the cave openings. Some critters like gobies, moray eels, scorpionfish, and blennies cling to soft and hard corals along the cave walls.
