Police Pier Dive Site in

Lembeh Strait

This dive site is named due to the nearby pier of the police station that monitors the Lembeh Strait. With a depth of 3 to 25 meters, the sandy slope descends gradually and is not only filled with rubble and garbage but also soft corals and sponges, especially the orange ones.

The rubbles and orange sponges are the perfect hideaway for thorny seahorses and orange-painted frogfish. Also, Banggai cardinalfish can be seen mingling with the anemonefish in anemones or hiding among the spines of sea urchins. One has to look closely to spot one.

Barramundi cod, Harlequin shrimp, ghost pipefish, scorpion fish, lionfish, nudibranchs, and crabs are also part of the marine life here in Police Pier.
