Sahaung, one of the best dives in Bangka, is known for its scenic topography. It is also an iconic dive site for a reason. A series of boulders and pinnacles starts from the shore to the sandy bottom. With the dive ranges from 5 to 35 meters, the slope of boulders is covered in spectacular red, yellow, and orange soft corals, table corals, and sea fans.
This area is a fish magnet with schools of snappers, anthias, anemones, frogfish, crocodilefish, butterflyfish, surgeonfish, and clownfish in great numbers. Reef sharks can often be found hiding under the table corals.
