The main attraction of this bay, which consists of small islands, is the whale sharks. After all, this is one of the few places where you can dive along with the whale sharks in Indonesia, aside from Cenderawasih Bay.

The gentle giant of the ocean here is semi-permanent, and they feed off the local fishermen’s nets. You can also visit Labuan Jambu, where the local community, government, and conservation organizations have created a whale shark conservation. Though not aggressive, it is essential to remember to keep your distance from the whale sharks and never touch these creatures.
