Tanjung Batu Putih Dive Site in

Sumbawa

Though more famous as one of the liveaboard stopovers from Bali to Komodo, this region offers more than just a place to transit. Located around five kilometers off the entrance to Bima, Tanjung Batu Putih is 20 meters from the fringing reef before it descends into a wall drop-off to around 40 meters.

You will encounter bicolor angelfish in the area, famous for its yellow tail, upper body with the blue lower body, and Black striped angelfish, aka the Lamarck’s angelfish. These white and black angelfish are abundant in the area.

Mirror basslet or pink anthias, butterflyfish, batfish, eagle rays, and whitetip sharks are regular sightings in this area.
