Tasi Tolu Dive Site in

Timor

Located on the west side of Dili, the country’s capital, Tasi Tolu, is often compared to Lembeh Strait since it is considered the most famous muck dive site in Timor-Leste.

With a depth of 24 meters, this is the perfect place for any macro lovers. Different species of soft corals and sponges create the best environment for mimic and blue ring octopus, Spanish dancer, ghost pipefish, cuttlefish, pygmy seahorse, nudibranchs, frogfish, and different species of crabs and shrimps. Tasi Tolu is also the ideal destination for a night dive to spot coconut octopus, bobtail squids, and others. Not only that, dugongs can also be found here, thanks to the abundance of seagrass in the area.
