Just around a 10-minute boat ride from Pemuteran Beach lies the world’s largest artificial reef project. Through a foundation, dive operators, resort owners, and local communities restored the coral reef ecosystem that had been damaged due to cyanide fishing. Many divers have stated this is one of their favorite dive spots in Bali.
Goddess statues and temples synonymous with Bali were placed on the sea floor, where soft and hard coral reefs grow and attract clownfish, damselfish, surgeonfish, wrasse, and blennies. Pygmy seahorses will happily tease you with their camouflage.
